High mobility system for use in locations where mobility is desired and target surface area is minimal.

Biomist is the first safe method for power spraying equipment and facilities with an alcohol-based sanitizing solution. Biomist Formula D2 contains a concentrated solution of alcohol (long recognized as an optimal sanitizing agent), as well as a four-chain quaternary ammonium compound to continue sanitizing after the alcohol has evaporated. To eliminate the problem of alcohol's flammability, Biomist's patented technology uses high pressure bottled carbon dioxide (CO2) as a carrier to spray the sanitizer. Biomist can be sprayed in the presence of an open flame without danger.

High mobility system for use in locations where mobility is desired and target surface area is minimal.

The Biomist Micro Sanitizing System is registered with the FDA as a medical device and typically used in smaller facilities where intermittent use is needed. The system carries a 5-lb CO2 tank, which means length of use is also more limited than with bigger units such as the SS20 or the SS10.
  • Power mist unit propels fog of sanitizer up to 15 feet.
  • Operation is as easy as point-and-spray.
  • Easy-to-change reservoir holds proprietary Biomist sanitizing solution.
  • Nozzle atomizes spray into micro-size droplets.

Biomist SS5 Micro Power Sanitizing System

  • Size: 22″ x 14″ x 9″
  • Weight: 30 lbs (w/full cylinder)
  • Maximum Hose Length: 10 feet
  • CO2 Capacity: 5 lbs

Biomist Technology Benefits

  • Concentrated alcohol is rendered non-flammable through CO2
  • Highly efficacious
  • Atomized mist penetrates crevices and shielded areas

Areas of Use

The Biomist Micro Sanitizing System is ideal for operations where intermittent use is sufficient for sanitizing, such as (but not limited to):
  • First responder facilities & vehicles (ambulance, fire)
  • Schools and childcare facilities
  • Quick serve restaurants
  • Grocery / deli
  • ...or as a supplimentary unit to SS20 in larger manufacturing operations, hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceuticals

Independent testing has proved it effective in killing:

  • Staphylococcus aureus MRSA (ATCC 33591)
  • Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)
  • Enterococcus faecium VRE (ATCC 51559)
  • Escherichia coli 0157:H7 (ATCC 43895)
  • Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442)
  • Listeria monocytogenes (ATCC 19111)
  • Salmonella choleraesuis (ATCC 10708)
  • HIV- 1 (associated with AIDS)
  • Hepatitis B Virus (HBV)
  • Norovirus
  • and the vast majority of all other viruses and bacteria!
