FTS-Series Fluid Transfer Systems
World’s BEST Dry-Run Capability, HIGHEST Suction Lift of any PD Pump of its size in the Industry
Liquiflo’s FTS-Series lobe pumps outperform all other pump technologies in suction lift capability and dry-run performance. The unique tri-lobe design with spring-loaded contact blades allows the pump to develop a significant vacuum for the outstanding dry lifting of liquids and self-priming capability. The blades made from an engineered resin allow for virtually continuous dry run use without damage to the pump.
Our pumps and systems are used in a variety of industries including agriculture, petroleum, and petrochemical to mining, marine and industrial, and can handle a wide range of fluids, including diesel fuel, motor oil, antifreeze, aviation fuels, gasoline, gear lubes, chemicals, glycol and more.
Benefits of FTS-Series Pumps
- Continuous Dry Run- Engineered materials allow for continuous dry run without damage.
- Self-Priming- These positive displacement pumps quickly self-prime and will NOT vapor lock.
- High Suction Lift- The contacting blades allow the pump to develop significant vacuum, lifting liquids in excess of 20 feet.
- Reversible Flow- Can be operated bi-directionally.
- Fluid Compatibility- Used to pump fluids such as jet fuels, diesel, gasoline, water, coolant, lubricants, hydraulic oils, crude oil and other similar fluids.

H-Series Heavy Duty Gear Pumps
The H-Series Gear Pumps were designed as an upgrade to Liquiflo®'s original 3-Series. With similar outside dimensions and capacities, the H-Series incorporates larger diameter shafts and bearings, allowing them to handle higher pressures with extended service life. H-Series pumps are available in Sealed and Mag-Drive versions with flows up to approximately 55 GPM and differential pressures up to 225 PSI with 300 PSI possible on some models.
- Flows up to 55 GPM
- Differential Pressures up to 225 PSI
- Viscosities from 0.3 to 100,000+ cP
- 316 SS or Alloy-C Basic Construction
- Packing, Single Mechanical Seal, Double Mechanical Seal or Mag-Drive
- Closed-Coupled or Long-Coupled
- 12 Models Offered
Available Sealing Configurations
Magnetically Coupled (sealless): The magnetically coupled or mag-drive pump is the best method for handling toxic, noxious, crystallizing, or most other hazardous liquids since it completely contains the pumpage by isolating the drive shaft inside the pump housing. With no dynamic seal to leak or replace, the maintenance issues associated with seal leakage are eliminated. All Liquiflo® gear pumps are available with magnetic drive.
Mechanical Seal: Mechanical seals are offered in single and double configurations and are used for chemical applications where leakage needs to be minimized or eliminated. The single internal mechanical seal is the most common seal type and is ideal for pumping clean liquids up to 5,000 cP viscosity. The double mechanical seal requires a flushing system and is typically used when pumping liquids that are viscous, abrasive, crystalize on contact with air or are very hazardous. Carbon vs. SiC seal faces are the primary choice for most applications up to 500 °F. SiC vs. SiC seal faces have high abrasion resistance and can be applied up to 500 °F. Teflon vs. SiC seal faces have extreme chemical resistance and can be applied up to 180 °F and 50 PSI differential pressure.
Packing Seal: Packing is the simplest and most economical solution for pumping non-hazardous liquids where minor leakage is acceptable. Braided Teflon packing is the primary choice for applications up to 350 °F. Graphoil packing is available for high temperature applications up to 500 °F.

Close-Coupled Configuration: All Liquiflo® gear pumps are available with the close-coupled configuration. This configuration simplifies installation and maintenance, and extends pump life by guaranteeing perfect pump-motor alignment.
Raised-Face Flanges: ANSI, DIN, and JIS Flanges are available to simplify piping connections and disconnections.
Sanitary Fittings: Tri-clamp sanitary fittings are a convenient alternative to threaded or flanged port connections.
S-Adapter: The S-Adapter is available for long-coupling mag-drive pumps; it isolates the pump from the motor and can be used when long-coupling pumps to motors or drives that do not have a C-face mounting. Maximum temperature rating is 250°F (120°C).
Power Frame: The Liquiflo® Power Frame is used for long-coupling mag-drive pumps that are used for high temperature applications, up to the pump's maximum temperature rating. Its integral cooling jacket keeps the bearing system of the pedestal cool even when it is coupled to a pump operating at extremely high temperature.
Clamp-On Temperature Control Jacket: Temperature Control Jackets can maintain the pump at either elevated or reduced temperatures. They are commonly used when pumping liquids that solidify or become difficult to pump when the temperature decreases.
Dual-Kan™: Liquiflo®'s patented Dual Kan controls the back-end temperature of a mag-drive pump by circulating a heating or a cooling fluid through the containment can. This is ideal for applications requiring precise and uniform temperature control.
Base Plate Mounting: Liquiflo® gear pumps are available with base-mounts to simplify installation. Liquiflo® also offers base-mounts with or without the motor pre-installed.
Hard-Coated Shafts: Hard-coated shafts are used to extend pump life in difficult applications requiring higher levels of wear resistance. Ceramic Chrome Oxide (CO) and Tungsten Carbide (TC) coatings are available.
Accessories & Spare Parts: Mechanical couplings, coupling guards, risers, base plates, adapters, brackets, pedestals and individual pump components can all be purchased separately.

VFD Motor Assembly for H-Series Pumps
This package is designed to simplify selection of motors and drives to provide an out of the box solution that can plug into a wall outlet and allows the end user to control the flow rate of the pump by adjusting the motor speed. The standard drive is designed to be user friendly, without the myriad of confusing parameters required by most VFDs. The display is configured at the factory to display RPM, but can be easily set to display frequency (Hz) or a scaled value i.e. 0-100%. The speed can be adjusted using either the up/down arrow keys or the built in potentiometer. A built in power switch allows the drive to be turned off using the drive itself. The drive is configured to accept 115 VAC, single phase input power. It can be field adjusted to accept 230 VAC single phase power. If 4-20mA control is desired, a field installable board can be supplied as an add on to accept control input signals from devices such as flow meters or pH sensors.
